When to Use What AI Model

People often use whichever AI model is already selected. That habit can quietly lower the quality of the answer.

Different models excel at writing, analysis, research, problem-solving, and quick everyday tasks. Reasoning settings add another decision by controlling how long the model works through a request before responding.

Model selection becomes easier once you know what to look for. The task usually gives you enough information to choose the model and decide how much reasoning it deserves.
